Didier Drogba, a legend for Chelsea, stated that football fans expected Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe to leave the Ligue 1 champions in the near future for a club in the Premier League. Drogba was referring to the widespread belief that Mbappe would be joining a club in the Premier League.
Mbappe just extended his contract with Paris Saint-Germain during the summer, turning out a transfer to Real Madrid in the process.
Following the conclusion of his contract with PSG, the France international has been linked with a possible move to a club in the Premier League.
When asked if Mbappe needs to leave PSG for a top club in the Premier League in order to fulfill his potential, Didier Drogba, who was on punditry duty for BBC Sport, responded, “I think that is what we all expect him to do, but I know him a little bit and he really wants to make a statement by winning the Champions League with PSG.” Mbappe has expressed his desire to win the Champions League with PSG.
